Online Counseling for Anxiety
Empowering women of color to achieve stability, even in the face of uncertainty.
It's more than just a "stressful day" for you.
You experience intense emotions, but you tend to ignore your basic needs because of your demanding lifestyle. You were taught that overplanning and hypervigilance are worth it, even if it means sacrificing your health to support the people you care about. You know it’s not ideal, but you think you don't have a choice or say in your life because “it’s just what we do.”
Sure, it's normal to worry, but do you ever find yourself overthinking and dwelling on the tiniest issues? Do you sometimes feel like you're worrying too much? People think it’s easy to brush off anxious thoughts, but there’s more to it than just being a worrywart.
My heart goes out to all the women who are made to believe they have to minimize their struggles to keep the people around them comfortable.
I acknowledge the unique challenges that women encounter due to gender and cultural norms. These challenges significantly impact us socially and personally in our daily experiences.
I hope to help you experience the freedom that comes from validating your emotions and addressing issues in your life.
Need a clearer picture of how you reached this point?
The lives we experience as women of color take many forms. We all face various stressors related to wealth, language barriers, and cultural differences. All of these factors can contribute to heightened anxiety.
I recognize the need for intentionality and nuance to reflect upon and understand the various layers of our identities. Supporting women of color with compassion as they embark on their journey of self-discovery is at the heart of my work.
